Had the opportunity to photograph amazing saxophonist Trey Daniels who is currently on tour with THE Anita Baker. Of course I asked him to get free in front of my camera, and was able to get some amazing long exposure portraits of him playing.

For the lighting set up, similar to my shoot with Devan, I used a 4 light set up using the Paul C Buff‘s Einstein 640 watts Flash units. On the key light, I had the 22″ Silver Output Beauty Dish with a 30 Degree Grid, and the fill light was the AlienBees Ringflash. I had two gelled rim lights, one on each side of the subject. I adjusted the blue gelled rim light into a backlight in some of the images.
