A few weeks ago I got great news that Yamen Sanders (the model I previously shot) was signed to Wilhelmina Models. After getting signed he told me he was in need of some location images for his portfolio book that will help him land more jobs, so we woke up bright and early one morning, and hit Venice beach. For natural light images, sunrise is usually the best time to get beautiful, warm, soft lighting. It’s also the best time to shoot on a beach with the least distractions. We knew he needed athletic as well as lifestyle images, so we made sure to create them with multiple looks as well as a mixture of natural and active poses!
